The Bible was written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, thereby making it without error in its original form. It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. It is God’s word given to men to teach, rebuke, correct and admonish in all righteousness and to reveal His unending love for mankind. It is completely and fully true and stands forever. (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1:1-2, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 119:105, Proverbs 30:5, John 1:1)

God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons – God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three exist separately and are equal but yet they are one God. God is perfect, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. (Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2; Corinthians 13:14, Revelations 1:8, Matthew 10:29, Jeremiah 1:5, Matthew 5:48, Mark 1:10-11)

Jesus is the one and only son of God, born of a virgin and sent through the Holy Spirit.  He is equal with the Father & The Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and willingly offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by being crucified. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Acceptance of Jesus as the one Messiah is the only path to eternal salvation. (Matthew 1:22, 23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; John 3:16, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Romans 1:3, 4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14, 15; Titus 2:13)

 Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the one triune God. He draws men unto Himself at the point of salvation to reveal their need for a Savior. After salvation, He resides in the believer to guide, direct & convict of sins. He also gives spiritual gifts at salvation that enable believers to accomplish certain ministries. The Holy Spirit intercedes with God on the behalf of believers when necessary.  (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16, 17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:1; Romans 8:26)

Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like God in character.  Mankind is the supreme object of God’s creation. Sin and death entered the world through one man, and it is spread to all mankind. Man is sinful because of his disobedience towards God, and this sinfulness separates us from God. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:7; Genesis 3:1-7; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1, 2)

There is one true universal church. A church is meant to be a fellowship of believers built on the foundation of Christ, our cornerstone. Believers are called to meet corporately for worship, to equip ourselves for ministry and to make believers of the lost. Leaders of the church are to be examples of Christ’s love in service to the membership. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:41-47; Acts 4:1-16;1 Corinthians 11:23-29; Ephesians 2:19-22; Ephesians 4:11-13; Hebrews 10:23-25; 1 Peter 5:1-3)
